Do blondes really have more fun?
Angelina Jolie may soon find out.
The Oscar-winning actress, 35, is set to play Marilyn Monroe in the movie version of The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, author Andrew O'Hagan tells the London Telegraph.

An official announcement has not been made.
According to the Telegraph, "The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend Marilyn Monroe follows Monroe's last two years through the eyes of her pet, Maf, a Maltese terrier which was a gift from Sinatra in 1960.

Jolie also is being considered for the role of Cleopatra, famously played by Elizabeth Taylor in 1963.
"I would be honored [to play the role]," she has said. "But we haven't gotten the script yet."
