"American Idol" Season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks, made her Broadway debut last Thursday (August 19) as Nina Rosario in the hit musical, In The Heights.
Based in New York City's Dominican-American neighborhood of Washington Heights, the musical follows the lives of the characters over a three-day period.
Fellow young Hollywood star, Corbin Bleu, of the High School Musical franchise, just ended his extended debut as Usnavi in In The Heights last Monday. Now playing at the Richard Rodgers Theater in NYC, 20-year-old Jordin (pictured above, with her mom) will perform as the first-generation college student for a special, limited 12 week run.
