LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "Glee" creator and "Eat Pray Love" director Ryan Murphy dished some major dirt with Ryan Seacrest Tuesday morning on Seacrest's radio show, including confirmation that the princess of pop will appear in the Britney-themed episode.
'Britney, I think, 100 percent is gonna be on the episode, which is exciting," Murphy said on "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest" on LA's KIIS-FM. "She's gonna come and join us and do a couple scenes."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Britney's camp had expressed interest in the pop diva appearing in the episode.
"Her people want to do it. Like Madonna, they gave me carte blanche," Murphy told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush, at the "Eat Pray Love" junket in July. "They know that we're fans of hers, and we're doing it in a very reverential way. I think it's just about scheduling - I have to give her the dates."

John Stamos, who's joining the cast as a dentist and love-interest for guidance counselor Emma (Jayma Mays), will be the bridge between the entertainment icon and small-town Ohio.
"All of the Britney numbers will be fantasies," Murphy told Seacrest. "Four of the kids have terrible dental hygiene, and those kids have to go get their teeth cleaned - some of them under anesthesia - and that's when the fun Britney stuff happens."
The "Glee" guru also shot down recent rumors on Seacrest's show that one of "Glee's" characters might shave their head in reference to Britney's disturbing 2007 clipper catastrophe.

"The Britney episode is so reverential about her, and so kind, and it's about her music, not her personal life," he told the "Idol" host. "So that's not true. We're handling Britney with sort of kid-gloves."
Murphy also revealed to Seacrest big plans for next year's post-Super Bowl episode.

"I think Prince would be amazing," he said. "I wanna do a Beatles episode, and I would love to do a Michael Jackson episode. So one of those three we'll do for the Super Bowl."
Though the official airdate for "Glee's" Britney episode is unknown, paparazzi photos were released last week showing star Lea Michele on set dressed in Britney's "...Baby One More Time" music video garb.
